قاد فيلم المخرج المكسيكي أليخاندرو غوانزاليس إينياريتو Birdman ترشيحات جوائز رابطة صحافة هوليوود الأجنبية HFPA التي تكرم سنوياً الإنجازات النخبة في عالمي السينما و التلفيزيون و الشهيرة بالغولدن غلوب ، و نال Birdman سبع ترشيحات تضمنت ثلاث ترشيحاتٍ تمثيلية ، متبوعاً بفيلمي Boyhood و The Imitation Game اللذين نال كلٌ منهما خمس ترشيحات .
و كان الترشيحات التي تعد مؤشراً قوياً في سباق الترشح لجوائز
الأوسكار مهمةً جداً في رسم صورة بعض الفئات خصوصاً التمثيلية منها بعد يومٍ واحدٍ
على إعلان ترشيحات نقابة الممثلين الأمريكيين ، روبرت دوفال أكد
ترشيحه يوم أمس في فئة أفضل ممثل مساعد عن فيلم The Judge بترشيحٍ آخر مهم في الغولدن غلوب قد يرسم ملامح فئةٍ تبدو أربعة
أسماءٍ أخرى و كأنما قد سيطرت عليها بشكلٍ واضح ، الأمر ذاته حصل للنجم جيك جيلنهال
الذي استفاد من التفرع التقليدي لجوائز التمثيل إلى فئتي الدراما و الكوميدي لينال
ترشيحاً مهماً في فئة أفضل ممثل دراما عن فيلم Nightcrawler الأمر الذي قد يشعل صراع
الأوسكار في الفئة خصوصاً مع نيل ديفيد أويلو عن فيلم Selma ترشيحاً هو الآخر بعد
يومٍ واحد على غيابه عن ترشيحات الـ SAG .
الأمر ذاته قد نلحظه في التطابق التام بين ترشيحات جوائز أفضل ممثلة في
فئة الدراما مع ترشيحات الـ SAG الأمر الذي يعزز كثيراً
من حظوظ جينيفر آنيستن عن فيلم Cake و ريس ويذرسبون
عن Wild على حساب الفرنسية ماريون كوتيار عن Two
Days, One Night التي خسر فيلمها أيضاً ترشيحاً متوقعاً في فئة أفضل فيلم أجنبي .
